A well-managed, single service from start to finish - drawing up a specification with the client, planning and project management, arranging focus groups, briefing and co-ordinating writers, editing, trialling, user research, production, promotion and launches.

We know what teachers need through our work on the D&T Association's extensive annual survey of provision in schools together with regular meetings with teacher members.

We work with Government agencies and manage a number of projects on behalf of the DfE and other partners - we are uniquely placed to be highly informed on curriculum change. Clients' valuable resources are not wasted when a producer does not know that the syllabus is about to be re-written.

Promotion of a resource or publication through the D&T Association member network is cost effective and well targeted, reaching committed teachers able to use the resources provided. We use national experts and the best writers in the field, proven in their ability to meet deadlines with quality work.

  • We work in partnership - both with clients and by involving other organisations to strengthen the work.

  • We work strategically to ensure that organisations do not duplicate the work of others.

  • We are committed to providing resources (much of it for free) and effective support for teachers to improve the quality of classroom experiences for pupils. Good resources enrich the D&T curriculum, save teachers a lot of time and inspire pupils.

  • We are not a commercial publisher seeking to profit from providing resources and services.
