Cross Curricular Links - ICT

Every subject Order in the National Curriculum contains a statement on the use of ICT which says, Pupils should be given opportunities to apply and develop their ICT capability through the use of ICT tools to support their learning

The National Curriculum in Action website contains new information on ICT in D&T under 4 headings:

• ICT learning
• ICT statutory requirements
• ICT opportunities
• Hardware and software

It is also possible to search this site for examples of pupils' D&T work which makes use of ICT.  There are 11 examples in KS1 and 21 examples in KS2.
