The Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards 2009

On Friday 6 March the prestigious 10th anniversary Annual Design and Technology (D&T) Association Awards for teachers and trainers who have made outstanding contributions to D&T education were held at the IET in London. Over a hundred and seventy guests attended the 2009 event, at which the twenty-six winners from across the country were presented with their awards by Wing Comander Andy Green of Project Bloodhound and Dr Ray Peacock. The highly-prized awards, including those sponsored by The James Dyson Foundation, the IET and Meat and Education, give professional recognition to individuals nominated by their colleagues for their unique work in design and technology education across six different categories.
