The Design and Technology Association is the UKs leading charity supporting and promoting design and technology education.
The Design and Technology Association is a Registered Charity and its charity number is 1062270. It is also registered as a limited company, company registration number 3089012.
The Design and Technology Association is registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner for the United Kingdom. We adhere strictly to the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

Information we collect

This is what we normally collect about you to help us provide you with our products and services we think are appropriate to you, and improve them even more, where we can:

• Name, address, email, telephone number, fax number, specialist area of D&T where appropriate, details of the school/organisation you work for, payment details and service details.
• Information on how you use our website to help us develop and improve our website, including details of your domain name and Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser version, cookie details, how long you stayed on a page, the route you took to navigate through the pages and the website that you visited prior to accessing our site.
• Other data to help us provide you with improved products and services. Now and again we might ask you to fill in a questionnaire for a number of reasons. For example it may be just so you can let us know how you find our membership services, or it may be to monitor provision in certain areas of the D&T curriculum and/or to gather evidence of teachers accessing CPD etc.

Collecting this information helps us better understand what you need from us, and consequently it helps us tailor our products/services. The main uses of your data are:

• To administer membership, publication sales and management of projects/accreditation.
