Design and Technology – what is going on?

Richard Green, Chief Executive, The Design and Technology Association will bring you up-to-date with the latest National Curriculum proposals, Damp;T qualification reforms, initial and continuing teaching training. He will also discuss the Association’s member benefits and we’re doing to support Damp;T teachers during these challenging times.

WORKSHOP - SWAP SHOP

Therfield School has developed a number of different projects over the last few years across Food Technology, Textiles and DT at all Key Stages, including Graphics, Resistant Materials, Textiles, Hospitality & Catering at KS4 and Product Design and Textiles at KS5.

The teachers are always keen to share resources, new ideas and new projects in any area of technology. They have a variety of work, projects and SOW on display around the department and departmental staff on hand to demo or allow delegates to try things out.

Everyone attending this event should take along a project, SOW or resource they are willing to share with the group.

Attendees should leave the meeting with a wealth of projects, SOW and resources to use in their own classroom.

This event is open to all Secondary Technology Teachers (KS3-5) to discuss, share, swap, projects, resources, SOW, techniques, assessment, starters, plenaries.

There are only 30 places available at this event.
