Campaign Launches at the RSA
The 7th October sees the launch of this important campaign which is supported by the Royal Society of Arts. We would like to thank them for their help in organising the launch event at this presitgious location
The event will be introduced by Joe Hallgarten, Head of Education, RSA. Richard Green, Chief Executive, D&T Associationwill then introduce ‘Design or Decline?’ video to highlight key aspects of the campaign -
A Panel discussion will commence chaired by Max McMurdo – designer, upcycler and TV presenter; panellists:
- Dick Powell – founder Seymourpowell
- Will Butler-Adams – CEO, Brompton Bikes
- Dinah Casson – founder Casson Mann and RSA Royal Designer for Industry,
- Rhys Morgan – Director of Engineering Education, Royal Academy of Engineering
- David Anderson – Headteacher, Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School
- Verity O’Keefe – Senior Policy Adviser, EEF
Following on from the panel discussion there will be time for questions to panellists from the floor followed by closing remarks and next steps as we, the D&T community see it, by Richard Green
