Alan Browne

Alan Qualified as a professional mechanical engineer before entering teaching in secondary schools.  He became a Head of an Arts and D&T Faculty prior to transferring to the Nottingham Trent University (NTU) to train secondary teachers in D&T.  During his career there he taught on the four, three and two year undergraduate plus the PGCE programmes in D&T. His final position being D&T Course Leader on the two year programme at NTU.  He left the University in 2012 and now runs his own consultancy business.  He has been a D&TA H&S consultant since the inception of the scheme in 2000.
