Clyde Redfern

I began my teaching career in 1982 after graduating from Loughborough University. I taught in a variety of schools in the West Midlands area. During this time, I managed various local and national projects and ran a department in inner city Birmingham for many years.

In 2003 I took a career change to set up and run a D&T teacher training course from Staffordshire University. This has been my passion for the past 13 years. I have been responsible for teacher training in many subjects and a variety of routes and have been involved in many government initiatives and local partnerships for teacher training.

My 34 years’ experience of working with pupils in schools and adults in teacher training and CDP, gives me a valuable skillset and realistic understanding of training needs of teachers.
