Mark Henshaw

I am a qualified RDTHSC and train other RDTHSCs at various locations across the country. I offer safety courses and specialist training which is bespoke to each individual and groups’ needs. I am available after school for twilight sessions and during school holidays to support in cases where release is difficult for staff.

As a consultant and Ofsted inspector my focus is on school improvement and raising outcomes for learners.  I have over thirty years’ experience in secondary and tertiary education and have written and developed DT and STEM curriculum for a range of schools including UTCs and STEM focussed free schools. My work as an examiner and qualification developer has given me a clear understanding of how to maximise marks and new qualifications.

I have extensive experience of new build projects, project management and specialist facilities design, sourcing and equipping from whole schools to DT, engineering and science facilities.

I offer interim cover at Head teacher, Deputy Head or Curriculum Lead level.
