Nick Dudderidge

  • Introducing Nick Dudderidge, BA(Hons) / P.G.C.E. / M.Sc. Nick has worked since 1992 in Design and Technology education. Qualifying from UCWN, South Wales with a degree in 3 Dimensional Design in 1990, he trained in Design and Technology and has taught in both State and Independent Schools in England and Wales over the last three decades. He has been Faculty Leader for Technology in three schools. Passionate about the opportunities in design and manufacturing he was an early adopter of CAD CAM, especially Rapid Prototyping with 3D Printers. Nick has moderated Advanced Level courses for W.J.E.C. and chaired conferences in Powys county D&T meetings. He studied part time at Loughborough University Virtual Product Design graduating with Distinction in 2010. Since leading a team of students from King’s School Chester to World Finals in the F1inSchools competition, he has founded DesignED Technologies. As senior consultant, he develops STEM projects to support D&T in Primary Schools and introducing Quadcopters into a yearly AirChallenge Competition which will launch in 2018.
