Received the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Award for "Outstanding contribution to leading practice 2009 -10”. DATA award 2005 Outstanding Teacher. Lead Practitioner Coordinator 2009 -10. Lead Practitioner for 3 years with the SSAT design and technology team (separate group to license to cook lead practitioners). Healthy Schools Coordinator 2009 - 2010. Led 2 schools through healthy school’s status. Teach currently approx. 100 GCSE Food Technology Students in year 10 and 100 in year 11 and 30 A level. Set up a market group of food teachers to work with AQA on the new GCSE specification in Food Preparation and Nutrition prior to accreditation and launch. Edited the Harper Collins revision guide for the new GCSE in Food Preparation and Nutrition. Taught A Level Food Technology, BTEC Level 3 Hospitality Diploma and WJEC Level 3 Food Science and Nutrition Diploma to sixth form students. Worked as a business manager previous in the hospitality industry. Ran various over-subscribed CPD training workshops and network meetings for food specialists.
