Hot and Cold Metal Forming including SMHS Heat Treatment Accreditation
The session will look at the Health and safety involved in using the brazing hearth, chip forge and low temperature casting.
The session will start with some basic health and safety and how to instructions followed by a practical session on shaping and forming as many of the following allowed within a 2.5 hour workshop;
- Oversized BBQ/kebab skewer
- Match stick person trophy
- Pewter cast coin
- Cold bent candle stick or phone stand
