Understanding Fibres and Fabrics: A Wool4School Workshop
How are you teaching the skills and knowledge required for the textiles element of the GCSE core content? Discover creative approaches to improving learners’ understanding and experience of fibres to fabrics through a practical workshop based around the Wool4school design competition’s free resources. Integrating the competition into the curriculum gives learners the opportunity to experience a ‘real life’ design brief whilst developing their understanding of sustainable fibres and fabrics in preparation for external assessments.
