Engaging activities for KS3 & 4
All delegates will be introduced to a range of simple activities that are designed to engage and enthuse students in both KS3 and 4 D&T. Delegates will get to take away the work they produce in the session and will have access to a number of other key resources that can be deployed to further support the development of their curriculum.
- How to use simple and engaging activities and tasks to engage learners in the subject by:
- Using visual stimuli and other resources to help avoid fixated outcomes when designing.
- Hands on practical tasks that include:
- Modelling and prototyping techniques, manipulating plastics, using simple and affordable electronics.
