Ambassadors for Design and Technology

A network of supporters, across education, industry and government, keen to act as Ambassadors for Design and Technology.

D&T Association Ambassadors

We are developing a network of supporters, across education, industry and government, with influential ‘voices’ keen to champion the role of Design and Technology in education. Design and Technology should be positioned as a critical area of the curriculum, key to any government’s plans for an education and skills system that meets 21st century needs.

"The power, gas, water and environmental recycling businesses, collectively known as energy & utilities, are almost unique in providing essential services for 65 million people each day and infrastructure that powers the whole UK economy. Career choices are hugely diverse, and the value of those careers to society are immense. At the very heart of the sector’s needs for its future, is the recruitment of new talent that understands innovation, the creative application of new technologies and sustainability. I am honoured to be an ambassador for Design and Technology, to help connect those in or leaving education, with companies who need their skills and will greatly value their contribution." - Nick Ellins, Chief Executive, Energy & Utility Skills Group and the National Skills Academy for Power
