Sponsors of Training the next generation of designers and engineers - House of Commons, 12 October 2017
On the 12th October 2017 the Design and Technology Association, in conjunction with Policy Connect, the Edge Foundation and Barry Sheerman, (MP and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Manufacturing) are hosting an event designed to demonstrate the importance of design, engineering and technology education to Ministers and MPs.
We are hoping to draw out the importance of the subject and how it can play a key role in supporting the roll out of the Government’s Industrial Strategy with an emphasis on high tech engineering and digital skills. We would like to thank our kind sponsors of this event:
At TTS we offer a large range of primary design and technology resources and recognise that the subject is often taught through topic work. As a result, we have developed some great design and technology class kits that can easily be adapted for KS1 and KS2.
If you're teaching a topic on the Seaside this year then have a look at our resources for shelters and beach huts. Or if the topic of Space is your focal point, then why not create your own moon buggies with our controllable vehicles kit. We also have a wide selection of food technology resources to inspire young chefs and a wide range of textiles and other materials suitable for primary school children.
Our wide range of design and technology resources will help develop children’s designing and practical skills and bring projects to life.
