Cadent Gas - Partnering with STEM Schools
Here at Cadent we are forming meaningful partnerships with STEM-focused schools and colleges across the UK, as part of our recently launched Education & Skills programme. We’re now actively looking for schools/colleges in North Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Cumbria, to help us expand our partner school base.
Our programme focuses on three key areas; STEM enrichment, where we have classroom lessons on Energies of the Future, as well as a lesson on Natural Gas; Careers inspiration classroom sessions that include general careers advice and focus on skills and career development; And finally, Workplace experiences. We have a team of expert ambassadors from across our business, who will be on hand to visit your school or college.
Our Education & Skills program strongly links into our Training schemes. We currently offer a number of schemes at each educational exit point. We have:
3 technical Apprenticeship schemes (Post GCSE) which lead into being a member of our field force.
A project management Apprenticeship
Engineering Training Program (Post A-level) to be a technical supervisor
Industrial Placement scheme as part of a degree
Graduate Development programs (both commercial and engineering).
If you’re a school with students aged 13-19, do you have a focus on STEM in your school/college and are you interested in building a working relationship with Cadent for Cadent to come in on multiple occasions to build on the curriculum with some employer led lessons? If so, please get in touch by emailing box.CadentEducation@cadentgas.com and tell us why you would like to partner with us.
Design and Technology (D&T) is the inspiring, rigorous and practical subject which prepares all young people to live and work in the designed and made world.

And we want you to join us.
