EBacc or New Bacc?

Published 7th November 2016

Just over a year ago, on 3rd November 2015, the DfE launched a consultation on their plans to make the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) all-but compulsory in secondary schools.  The DfE has yet to respond to their own consultation.

Please help keep the pressure on the Government and write to your local MP asking if they will question the DfE about this delay and suggesting that the Department would do well to consider Lord Baker’s proposal for A New Baccalaureate in his paper published by the Edge Foundation last month and which includes D&T.

You can find your MP here.
