Engineering Season at the VMA

The V&A Engineering Season will highlight the importance of engineering in our daily lives and consider engineers as the ‘unsung heroes’ of design, who play a vital and creative role in the creation of our built environment. The season runs from 18 June – 6 November 2016 and will be offering the following for Schools:

V&A Sanctuary For Teachers - 10 June, 17.45 – 20.30
Be inspired by the V&A’s special Engineering Season before heading back to the studio to work on a cross-disciplinary brief linked to engineering and design.
£20 per person (includes materials & refreshments)

Teacher Twilight: Engineering the World - 24 June, 17.45 – 20.00
Find out more with the curators of the Season, pick up free resources and enjoy a glass of wine with colleagues.

Schools’ Exhibition Mornings: Engineering the World - 4 & 5 October  - Bookable slots between 10.00 – 10.45
Schools can book in alongside the general public for visits throughout the run of the exhibition, or book one of these exclusive Schools’ Exhibitions Mornings and enjoy the space to teach and draw.
£3 per student, booking essential
