Gareth Pimley retires after 25 years supporting primary D&T

Published 19th April 2018

After 25 years supporting primary D&T, Gareth decided to retire as an education consultant at the end of August. Gareth had a long relationship with the D&T Association, from his days as a local authority adviser with Shropshire, his secondment to the Association as Assistant Chief Executive, his role as Lead Primary Consultant and his membership of the Primary Working Group. He helped to lead several initiatives and the development of resources, including the Primary Subject Leaders’ File, Projects on a Page, editing D&T Primary and securing the status of D&T as a National Curriculum subject. Gareth supported and promoted D&T widely and enthusiastically. We wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
