Get ready for Big Cookathon 2016
Published 3rd December 2015
Join the Children’s Food Trust Big Cookathon 2016, supported by The Tesco Eat Happy Project and help us to get the nation cooking. To make the Big Cookathon the biggest and best mass cooking event in the country all you need to do is pledge for your family, friends or workplace to cook together anytime between 22 and 25 April 2016.
Their official recipe, Big Cookathon Cottage Pie is a healthy version of a traditional favourite. It takes its inspiration from a time when families ate together at home, before the distractions of mobile phones and computer games.
The Children’s Food Trust helps children eat better and so do better. Through the work that they do with Let’s Get Cooking clubs and Let's Get Cooking at Home, they've helped millions of children and their families learn how to cook healthy meals from scratch.
Now in its eighth year, the Big Cookathon, is a chance for even more people to see how simple and fun it can be to make a tasty, healthy meal from scratch.
As well as getting involved in the biggest mass cooking event in the country, by taking part you could win £200 in Tesco vouchers.Back to News
