V&A D&T GCSE Symposium

On the on 11 July, the Victoria and Albert Museum held a D&T GCSE Symposium for teachers of D&T, to explore the new single title GCSE and how their resources could be used to support its teaching and development in schools. The event was introduced by Dr Tristram Hunt Director of the V&A and attended by teachers and the V&A schools team.
Andy Mitchell Deputy Chief Executive of the D&T Association. gave a key note address and this was followed by presentations on sustainable design. Hands-on workshops then followed to find out how the V&A can support the new D&T GCSE qualification and beyond.
