This disc for pupils aged 7-11 guides budding classroom cooks through a series of ten simple recipes. Along the way they will learn useful cooking skills through tips and video demonstrations. A series of interactive information pages teaches about food storage, health and safety issues, cooking utensils, food groups and balanced diets. There are five fun activities to test pupils’ knowledge on kitchen hazards, food hygiene, where our food comes from and more. The disc also contains teacher notes, pupil worksheets and useful web-links.
