This unit offers ready to go scheme of work that covers the design process in detail, focused around a high quality product, the USB pen. It provides each student with a finished product they would value.

The scheme contains all the planning and support you need to deliver a unit of work over nine two-hour lessons, with everything from starters to homework tasks, supported by:

  • PowerPoint presentations for each lesson
  • CAD tutorials and CAD files
  • unit of work
  • student workbook. 

The unit covers the following:

  • developing a design brief for a client or user group
  • product analysis
  • generating and developing ideas
  • working within design restrictions
  • model development and producing a final design
  • manufacturing and using industrial practice methods.

Uncased USB drives are available separately and are not included in the pack.
