An exciting opportunity to work directly with a key iterative design researcher, Kay Stables, from Goldsmiths University.
This course will focus on how iterative design and technology projects can be developed that use contexts, rich in issues and challenges, to stimulate learners to create their own projects that have meaning and relevance for them. The workshop will explore ways in which contexts can be presented to learners and how they can create a stimulus for both reflection and action in an iterative process of designing.
It will explore effective ways to present contexts to students and encourage them to explore, design, reflect and evaluate in an iterative manner. Kay Stables will highlight techniques that can be used to help structure and manage effective iterative design in the classroom and meet needs within the D&T National Curriculum and D&T GCSE subject content
