This course will provide an opportunity for RDTHSCs to familiarise themselves with these training standards and the resources available on the CUG to support training. This course is suitable to deliver to everyone who teaches and supports secondary food technology, home economics or catering or who lead cookery clubs or food activities in schools. This includes—teachers, technicians, teaching assistants, trainee teachers, special needs support staff. The course covers-management of Food safety, Fixed Equipment, the Environment, Small Portable Equipment and Temperature Control, Contamination and Allergies. The training for the SFHS accreditation can only be delivered when the delegate holds a current Level 2 Food Safety certification.
