My name is Graeme Field. I have extensive craft, teaching and management experience in design technology that includes a craft apprenticeship and time in industry focusing on wood machining and shopfitting, lecturing and faculty management in further education and teaching with senior management across primary and 11-18 secondary education. I have held posts including Assistant Headteacher, Head of Faculty and Head of Department with responsibilities for curriculum management, teaching quality and department examination performance. I have written and introduced new syllabi and schemes of work whilst always maintaining a focus on creative design and making. I have managed a DT department in schools for over 20 years and developed a wide range of projects to utilise design technology-based tools and equipment of all kinds.
I can support you in the practical training of your staff in many school positions including both teaching and support staff.
