60 minute, online course (Zoom link will be provided)

Design intent considers the best approach to creating CAD models with a view to editing the models with greater ease during development,

Course objectives:

  • In this session we will look at the purpose of using CAD as a development or manufacturing tool rather than focusing on training for any particular programme. Using two different CAD packages to create then amend a simple model, we will see the advantages or limitations of each.

By participating in this course, you will:

  • Learn more about the use of CAD in the design process. This will help you choose the CAD software that is right for you and your students
  • Gain a better understanding of how to use CAD in your teaching.

This is an online course. In order to achieve the greatest outcome, maximise engagement with our trainer and gain the desired skills from this course, we require you to have your camera switched on throughout the entire session. We encourage discussion and are more than happy to answer questions during the session. Please note, the trainer may kindly request delegates mute themselves for short periods of times throughout the training session.
