OKdo are offering loans and teacher training on the exciting LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Prime Education kit. Each teacher in the scheme will receive an online training session to support the loan kit which will be with them for a duration of 3 weeks. Wave one starts on the 16th January with further waves to be announced for February.
The set is a creative and easy-to-use STEAM learning kit that enables robotics to be introduced to students with over 500 LEGO Education elements, mini-figures, gears, bricks, springs, pneumatics, fan blades and more. The set also includes curriculum-based lessons and materials to support teachers in delivering the lessons.
What are the benefits of the LEGO® Education BricQ Motion Prime Set?
With the BricQ Motion Prime Set, students will be able to:
- Develop problem-solving skills as they investigate push and pull forces.
- Apply scientific inquiry skills to show how the forces acting on an object can change its motion.
- Practice application of cause and effect & balanced and unbalanced forces to design, develop, and optimise a solution.
- Strengthen oral communication skills as students participate in collaborative conversations to present their ideas and identify solutions.
- Encourage creativity and explore design solutions.
