Sevra Davis

Bio:

Sevra Davis is Director of Architecture Design and Fashion at the British Council, responsible for creating new opportunities for the UK design sector around the world through collaboration and exchange. She has also held senior leadership positions at the Design Museum and the Royal Society for the Arts (RSA). As Director of Design at the RSA, she led the global expansion of the esteemed RSA Student Design Awards programme and for growing the organisation's role commitment to championing design education. She is an experienced architect, design advocate and leader in design for social change. She speaks and writes frequently about the role of architecture and design in an increasingly complex world. At the British Council, she oversees a number of global design programmes and is Commissioner of the British Pavilion presentation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition at la Biennale di Venezia 2020. Sevra has degrees from Yale University in the US, Aalto University in Finland and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.
