This course is suitable for RDTHSCs who have been delivering the Specialist Extension Level Training Standards covering Centre Lathes and Milling Machines for several years and who would like to update and extend their knowledge and understanding of these SELs. Attendance at the course provides a refresher training opportunity for those already accredited.
This course will cover the S2HS and S6HS Training Standards (including the Grinding competencies of S10HS) and will provide the opportunity to confirm your knowledge and understanding of Assessment Task 1 and practically rehearse appropriate Assessment Task 2 exercises that must be undertaken by colleagues in school to reach each of these SELs.
The course will enable you to take a fresh look at the way you present these Training Standards and will help you to plan appropriate practical exercises suitable for both initial and refresher training with colleagues in schools.UTC Swindon, Bristol Street
